Hi Stormin,

I know you may have done this with the best intentions but it is not really the way to go about getting help.  Gladmac is right, indiscriminate posting of answers in this way is really of no use to anyone.  We spent most of last month defending this site after some parties voiced their opinions regarding the degrading of quizmail by some of its competitors for raising questions here. By all means ask, there are many of us using this site that will be pleased to assist where we can, however, the carrot of 10 free answers is not required.  You will also find that if the question has not been posted on this site, the chances are, everyone has the answer already.

I agree with the above posts, especially with the answers written in the question so one could inadvertantly see them.  Fair enough offer an exchange of answers, but please don't just put them up.

Del424 is right, there was a lot of debate last month regarding the use of this site (Although no-one did answer my question regarding 'why register if you disagree with the site')  30 answers posted without asking will no doubt provoke some more protests, and may also discourage people from taking part in quizmail (whats the point if everyone has all the answers).

Having said all this, Gladmac you suggest googling here.  All I ask is how? With Q136 - 140 you have options with which to google, but how in Q55 to 59 would you google if you have no idea at all.  Do you go with "African president" and hope you get lucky?

Good point mldr79.  With 57 to 59 the options are reasonably restricted so it does not take to much googling to come up with the answer....or at least what appears to be the answer.

55 and 56 however, are stinkers.  This group of questions was obviously put in because we have an extra week to work with.  The african president comes from one of at least 52 different african countries.

55 should be a little easier because Dave did say before her left that they want the name of the country when he was president.  So, its called something else now....I am still no closer.

I shall obviously have to use that extra week on these questions.

59 is apparently an easy one if you are of a certain age! I'm 25 so have no real memories of events concerning this chap, but my mum got him straight away.
