Just waiting for my son's to arrive at the moment but I had every intention of sticking it in the Nationwide and not shopping around. I haven't got time for that and I'd imagine by and large they are all much of a much. The Nationwide, as the largest remaining Building Society, tend to be better in rates and service in my experience.

As you've got a long, long time before it's due to be paid out I would think that putting it into a unit trust fund will give you a far better long term result.
