my back passenger brake makes a clonking noice when i brake but only when the tyers get warm more so in slow moving traffic.

Check the caliper for tightness & also check the pads for wear. the tyre has nothing to do with the sound you hear. I take it you have not removed the road wheel to replace the pads have you? if you have, check the wheel nuts.
