could anyone comment from questions posted?

I have posted two questions on the Money & Finance section.  I don't know how to cut and paste them over.  I put them there as I hoped there would be professionals in the field who saw it and could answer, but I would also appreciate putting it to a wider audience of ABers who might not look there much.  If anyone has the time and inclination could they please view my questions, at present top and third from top.  I expect they will be near the top all evening and tomorrow as well.  The questions were on lending money to friends, and a related one about whether there are organisations to whom one can sell a debt. The one about lending money to friends is by way of a warning, too.  Please help out with your views and experiences, as I have no-one to talk this over with. Many thanks.

flaming I understand how dissillusioned and angry you feel! I lent money to my "Friend" 5 years ago in good faith. I dont expect it was as much as you lent out by the sound of things but I just cannot get it back! I even told my friend she could pay me �10 a month but nothing. As she and her hubby are heavily in debt there's nothing that I can do to get my money back. I wont lend to anyone now. Im �500 down!  Good Luck.

Quite some time ago, our youngest daughter lent �200 to a so called hard up Friend - she still hasn't received a penny back or an explanation as to why. He has ignored all text messages from her & has 'moved on'.

She has recently learned that not only has he bought a new top of the range expensive mobile phone & other extravagant items - he has also done the same to other kind, unsuspecting people. He is nothing more than a con-artist.

Once bitten twice shy & what comes around goes around, comes to mind.
