CSA Bailiffs for Arrears question
3 Answers
Hi ,
I have bailiffs chasing a liabilty order for a large arrears payable to CSA, which I am disputing (they ignored my original dispute and carried on with court action). They have called at the house twice while we were out and left 2 letters. The second stating they are returning at some point with a locksmith to take goods.
Firstly, my understanding is they cannot enter the house unless they have been in previously, with just a liability order. Is this true?
Secondly, my house is fully furnished so the only things belonging to my partner and I are my daughters things , and clothes. Even the TV is the landladys. There is nothing even remotely of any value, certainly not 6700 which is what they are trying to claim!
What should I do about this? Any advice appreciated thanks

If i were you, i would get a copy made of the official inventory and keep it by the door. If they turn up again, you can shove the copy out through the letter box (dont open the door), and show them that the contents are not yours and will therefore not help them reclaim their money, and that it will be in their interests to work with you to find a solution with a payment plan.
