waterloo road 6th form uniforms?

since when do schools especially those that arent private wear uniforms in the sixth form?

non in my area do so why does waterloo road?

I did, and all the schools in my local area did (none of them private).

Mr Y was brought up 200 miles away from where I was, and none of the schools round there wore uniform at all, so maybe it's a regional thing?

Coopers' Company and Coborn in Upminster Essex is a comprehensive school where the sixth form pupils wear uniform. Also Beal High School in Redbridge is a comp with 6th form uniform.

Aye they wear a uniform in the 6th year at our local school, the lads have to wear a suit and look really smart :o)

We were allowed to wear more 'informal' clothes, all in the 'brown' colour-range..........The boys had to wear blazer-type jackets, though, so their uniform was still pretty much as it had always been............in Northamptonshire.

my dads from suburb of manchester and mums from a town near birmingham and we live nowhere near either and non of the three places have schools that wear uniforms in6th form except private schools!

I think it's a great idea. The only things missing are either a birch or leather strap (tawse) instead of the Waterloo Road "cooler" which is no punishment whatsoever - only a convenient method of escaping classes!

lol. my school has a cooler. i've never been in the timeout room but by the sounds of it its just like the waterloo road cooler. the teachers dred having to be on time-out room duty. lol.

All our 6th formers wear uniform. White shirts not blue tho and smart office wear for girls in black or grey with white blouse. So you seem to be in the minority in the fact your 6th formers dont wear uniform. What area are you in ?
