keeps missing in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears any suggestions please.

Is it petrol? It may be a lead. It sounds as if the car just needs a good service. That will probably identify and remedy the misfire.

it is petrol and was only serviced 4 months ago, it does not miss all the time..

Ifthe car was running well without problems before the service, take it back.

the 1100cc models were prone to coil packs and plug lead failure surley it has a 5 year warrenty?
