The problem is that winning your case does not guarantee you will get the money, only that he gets a CCJ. You can enforce it in a number of ways including the bailiff, but none are guaranteed to be successful.

a customer needed work done we negociated and agreed @2150 for all of the work. i had the parts and carried out the work in november .i went for a road test with the customer for about 1 hr and he was happy with the work.i then gave him the bill he payed me 1500 cash said to me that itwas all he could get from the bank him being a customer of mine for about 3 years i trusted him he said when he got home he would transfer the money.i gave him a couple of days and rang him he said he would sort it out asap i cault up with him and he said there were some problems so i said to bring the car bak and i would sort them out he brought the car back the end of febuary i gave him a car for a week and sorted the problems out i had driven the car for that week and i had done abut 125 mile in my opion the car was fine being a saab specialist for 25 years the car drove as it should.he then came down road tested the car which i went out with him he agreed that the car was fine. i took him in the office to pay the balance he wrote a check which i dont normaly accept but being a customer for 4 years etc i took it of of him and said to him that as long as the check did not bounce it was ok. i then came home to bank the check and noticed that he had post dated the check to 29/3/2009 in disbeleaf i had no option but to bank the cheque then which i did, then the cheque was returned with stopped on it so i emailed him and he said there were problems and he was not going to pay for it he also said that he was not going to bring the car back because he had taken the car to a local garage which. i believe that he never had all of the money in the first place which is why he has strung me a long .this car was fine when it left me and i am still happy to repair it now just so i can get my money.in my opinion he wrote me a cheque so he could have some kind of upper hand sore and oppertunaty to stop it what can i do to reclame my money thanks for any replys
You are going to have to go to court to try to get the money.
