Ladies - All I wanted to do right, is to purchase some self-tan for the face. Not long since I got paid, so decided to opt for Clairins rather than Aldi Basics... Advertisers are getting a tad OTT aren't they, when they describe it as "... with unasponifiables of cocoa". What the hell?!! I had to google it - didn't want to end up putting Amazonian sperm on my face or anything. All it means is oils, fats, waxes etc that convert into soap. Perrleeese... I think I shall stick with Cuprinol - "...does what it says on the tin".
Stricly speaking, this probably should have gone in 'beauty' - but my question was more about the ridiculousness, scientificness & OTT'ness of advertising these days, rather than comments on self-tan products.
(My NHS ID card btw, as a complete aside, has me looking as though I have a very bad case of yellow jaudice - I was experimenting with St Tropez at the time & think I overdid it....)
