The display has gone funny. Although the screen is landscape format all the icons are coming on in portrait format so you have to physically rotate the pc through 45 degrees to read them. Any help welcome

Hmmm didnt work on its own but tried ctrl and arrow keys with something else blindly and it worked. Wish I knew what the third key was in case it happens again

probably ALT... try it and see :)

press the ctrl+alt key from the keyboard simultaneously and press the arrows to rotate the screen of the computer.

ctrl+alt+any arrow keys.

computer screen will rotate according to the arrows.
