where do i start? I want to down load films from the internet onto dvd to play back on the tv. what's the easiest way to do this and which is the best site to use?

Biffpuss! Of course doing so is illegal, however you can make backups of your DVDs, many of which can be found using a p2p ftp such as limewire.

You can find lots of files on there, and there's also utorrent which I think is better. You need to find out what video formats your dvd player can use, when you search for video you then would search for these, there are programs which convert video into a format of your choice and of course you need a dvd writer and the software for it. You can pretty much convert any video files into one which your dvd player could use, it does take a while though.

The best for films, is to download BitLord - http://www.bitlord.com/ then open the program, search for films, download the torrent, open, and save the film to your pc. When its downloaded, open Nero, which will convert the file into mpeg2, and then burn onto a DVD, ready for playback on a TV

Sorry guys but Limewire and eMule are both part of the terrible eDonkey network that is riddled with viruses and bots.

Try Bit lord if you are familiar with Torrents, they do download quicker but only if people seed.

However, if its a Kazaa, Limewire style you require then try Ares its clean of viruses and the community is sound, always rooting out bad files and dodgy mp3

after you download the video, you may try Movavi Video Suite, this software can convert video to DVD format and help you burn to blank DVD disc, my friends recommend it to me, very easy to use and works perfect for me, here is a guide about it
