Hee , yes , my weekday mornings are usually much the same , especially if my son is home . The dogs like a routine and I have pack-up to do . I make a point of turning my lappy on once I've let the dogs out and fed them , and then been to the bathroom . Then I post on the morning thread and on FB between seeing the youngsters off to work , and getting my breakfast . Then it's tablets nebs , and puffers time :-)

Hi angel 21 and funny girl thats sounds a bit like me when I had to go work. Big mamma yes sounds a bit like mine but my 2 kids have both flown the nest.
Wake up
look at the time
curse the time
go downstairs and put kettle on
wee
turn computer on
make coffee
turn TV on and put on the news (want to know what happened overnight)
look at AB and FB
Read all the sh!te and realise why I'm not bothering with this site too much anymore
decide what I'm doing for the day
shower depending on the answer to the above
start thinking about food
still thinking about food
decide what we're having for lunch
start thinking about what I'll cook for dinner
still thinking
still thinking
decide and go to the shops
Hi bigmamma mine may have flown the nest but my son calls in between his work walks in says hello you ok walks to kitchen opens fridge says what can I have and I end up doing egg beans on toast ,Did I say he had flown the nest ? lol lol
ummmm would your dog be a bit nervous of something or is he getting old. I have a lab and he isnearly 12 and at the odd time if he has been told off and sulks I get the odd wet in kitchen .I have never had to smack him so its not that he just dont like being told off . He is too clever and knows too much especailly the time.
i do have a morning routine pretty much the same as those mentioned already although i also put washing on, hang washing out, empty dishwasher that has been on in the night and prepare food in slow cooker and leave on for dinner. Oh and walk the dogs across the fields before they are left and get to work for 8.30am. I dont have routine at any other time or day and i absolutely hate it in the mornings, ive been really fed up of doing same things day in day out in the morning lately, feel i just just want to rebel against it!
He's a springer and about 10 now. He was an abused dog previously. If we even shouted he'd cower and pee. He doesn't do that anymore which I'm happy about. He now knows that we won't hit him.
He's scared of hiccups and legs it when someone opens a can.
It's only been in the last 6 months that he's felt brave enough to bark.....bless him. But his pee stinks and I have a new kitchen waiting to be fitted.....!!!
I won't put him down though. I pretend to hate him but go out of my way to cook him special food. He had liver and some duck last night...!!!
Then I wonder why he follows me everywhere I go....
ummmm I admire anyone that has taken on these dogs and yes it will take a long time for him to gain your trust. But it sounds as if you are getting there. I would have loved to bring up training labs for the blind or housebound but I would be too upset to part with them after that even knowing they were being trained for a good cause,.
Get up
Stagger into bathroom
Sit down on toilet
Evacuate bladder and bowels
Stand up
Take down pyjama trousers
Vow to go to bed earlier to avoid this scenario every day ....
He's there now wendilla and he's a complete sap. He even gives me dirty looks which I find highly amusing. He's in love with my boyfriend and when he cuddles me the dog glares at me as if we're cheating on him....lol
He still knows I'm the master though...!!
Andy...I've realised that the routine is the same no matter what time you go to bed. I got drunk last night (don't know why) and was still up at 6.45.....I curse that clock...!!!!
