Can they be put in a sunny spot or not.

Be careful though if it has a plastic cover. When we had a few very hot days last year, (yes we did!) my cover melted itself onto the frame.
Also they are very vulnerable to the wind and to being blown over by unexpected gusts. It's advisable to locate them up against a wall or somewhere where you can put in bolts which hold a strap you can wrap round it to anchor it in windy weather and stop it being blown over, with all the contents inside it.
If your mini greenhouse is in a very hot spot, make sure the ventilation flat is kept fully open. You can also protect it from the worst of the sun's rays by putting a large sheet of white garden fleece over it
