I have a 18 month contract phone with 3 (contract started 11/08), because I live in a rural area I am unable to get their 3G coverage but this has not been a pronblem until now because 3 used to "piggyback" onto the O2 network so I was always able to get a signal even when at home, but now they are using the orange network which has no coverage in my area, so if I want to use my phone I have to travel 2-3 miles.
Can I ask them to cancel the contract as they have changed the coverage available and made my phone next to useless?

I'm sure there was something about 3's coverage on watchdog the other week, try their website.
Speak with 3 and take up your complaint with the Trading Standards office. They will help you write a letter. Post it and get a proof of posting, no cost.
