Dot I see what you're saying but I can't accept that is right. How would you choose a mother - I can't see a woman wanting to do that either.

Cathy - what the article said was that the sperm had to be removed within 24hrs of the young man being taken of the life support system. The judge ordered that the body should be kept at the correct temperature until such time as someone was found to perform the procedure. So at present the situation remains the same.

Oh I thought he had been taken off the life support as there was a back lash from the medical profession. I must investigatge further.

And I'm not likely to start a family now (unless any of you guys are at a loose end tonight, LOL).

It's not what my family wanted, but hey ... that's how things have turned out.

I hope my parents don't go all weird on me, and start trying to manufacture grandchildren.
