When I posted this ojne before, there was only one answer, which unfortunately was not correct, so I thought I would have another go.

My desktop computer will go into Ebay but will not do anything within the site, e.g. go into 'My Ebay'. When I try, I get a message saying ' Your Browser is rejecting cookies'. It is running Windows XP and has Norton System Works and Norton Firewall installed. I don't have trouble with other sites, including answerbank.  It is also OK if I use Ebay.com instead of  Ebay.co.uk

My laptop has no problem. It also has the above software installed, purchased separately.

I have followed the instructions to check the Internet Explorer settings and the Norton programs are set to default.  The cokies setting is on medium, which is the default.  I have also searched for files containing ebay.  It is obviously something that knows the difference between ebay.com and ebay.co.uk, but I can't find it.

Any ideas? As you can see, I am by no means a computer expert, but can follow instructions.

I'd try a different browser, such as Firefox.
In a way this is avoiding your problem rather than fixing it but I think it's a better browser anyway.
I have had problems with eBay: when I want to view buying goods it takes me to the selling section !?! I managed to fix it by deleting the windows profile then recreating it.
