Do you mean " Why has it been done before ?" OR " Why ? Has it been done before?"
JJ may darling, have i missed the point re. Euro Account.

To open the account one would have to buy Euros, presumably with your pounds, and with the pound weak against the euro, they (euros) would be bloody expensive to buy.

Have I missed something?
speculate to accumulate...buy this book but then after you have gotten your money saving ingredients go door to door selling the items and make some money. :)

evening all havent got any tips for saving money
go through all your old junk, sell what you dont need (if it is sellable)
make your own sandwiches for lunch instead of buying them, fill an old water/pop bottle with you own pop from home instead of buying
write a shopping list, never do your shopping when you are hungy, stick to the list and if you need to buy extras like chocolate, buy the supermarkets own brand

evening stompe :D
When you boil the water for a cuppa (fill only to minimum level) put the rest in a vacuum flask and use later or fill a HWB and save on the heating :)
stop buying me all those expensive presents - flowers are fine.....
Hey Stompe and all!

My nan is so adept at saving money, I daresay she's got a few old white fivers kicking around. A few months ago, when she'd run out of butter, and didn't feel inclined to walk over to the shops, she found half a tub of cream in the fridge and showed me how to churn butter in less than 10 minutes !!
