... spread my roots a little & branched out into other topics on here rather than just chatterbank.
I have posted smut-free threads in Music (no answers as yet), Gardening (don't laugh), Body & soul (private stuff), Motoring (helped by a lovely man called Darren - but no, unfortunately he's not my plasterer but I did ask - I think he was a little mystified), and TV.
Tomorrow I shall spread myself a little further, and try Arts & Lits. You just never know who you may get talking to.
Do others constrict themselves to just chatterbank, or do you like to try a variety?
I first discovered AB because of the quizzes and puzzles. Then I wandered over into here and even now I flit around the topics to see if there is anything I have an answer to. I even slipped into technology once and answered an excel problem! And I just see what pops up in recent posts.
I ventured tentatively into Law once - thought I'd make a bit of an ass of myself, but then thought - No - The Law is an Ass, so I should fit in there very well. They were very informative but authoriative, but I wouldn't have let them intimidate me.
I can imagine Arts & Lit is going to be a bit cliquey and cultural though - maybe I should go in & spread some smut around?!!
well, abbie, Lent is now officially over... so I shall see what I can do these forthcoming weeks. However, I have got used to being well-behaved. Maybe the old salla has gone for good - maybe I am now 80% smut-free as opposed to only 20% smut-free. Would that be disappointing?
I occasionally venture into B&S, Q&P and F&D. There's nothing wrong with showing a more intelligent and spiritual side to one's character. Just don't go changing on us, Salla! x
.......sometimes venture into music, bit of a pink floyd freak with an otherwise ecclectic taste but discovered you lot when I needed a science question answered and then stumbled into here and can't seem to find my way out........
Sqad - I just KNEW it would be you that would pick up on the Art & Lits thing.....!! (It did occur to me to be a bit naughty with the 'c' on the keyboard, but thought better of it - Daniela and Ethel are back...!)
