Can you use dead, dried up (last year's growth) Japanese knotweed for kindling? I've Googled this but can't find anything. Thanks in advance.

It burns very easily As kids we regularly used to burn it to clear areas where it had died and dried up. We also used it as kindling for outdoor camp style fires. However, it burns very quickly so you would need to take account of this by ensuring you have sufficient backup, if required.
Hope this is of help.
