why is it so expensive to get this done in this country? Nearly �8000.00 can it be done cheaper and safely in this country?

I paid over �8000 for mine here. Apparantly it can be done cheaper on Belgium.

Dont do it, its the most awful operation out and you feel so ill afterwards and after everything you eat.

I agree...I have lost a shed load of weight but only because i have to throw up everything I eat which isnt plesant. Have a serious serious think about it before you do it. It isnt the easy option everyone thinks it is.

Its done on the NHS... My friend was offered it recently by her doctor..
