Tut tut! Certainly not Rabbs....that's proper last resort stuff that is!
If you are totally unable to log out properly and you really can't shut down in the normal manner, hold the on/off button down until it works. And it will eventually. Then wait at least 10 seconds before restarting the computer.
Oh - hi again rabbity. I'm such a dork with these machines - but then again, I only need to use them for basic stuff, so when something goes wrong, I don't know what to do!!
No Icey, mostly self taught. My sister is too and she knows more about networks than I do. If we don't have the answer and it all gets properly serious, our little brother is a Microsoft qualified techie. So between us all we can usually fix most probs. My brother is a whizz. He can do in minutes what might take me hours!
Rabbs, I could give you a number of tips to keep your computer running as efficiently as possible but it would take a looooong time! I've thought about writing a little tutorial to email to people but I've never got round to it. Well I did do it once and then lost it and have been too lazy to do it all over again.
Excellent Aprillis - I now know who to ask if I can't get hold of anyone at this end!!!! : )
People think I'm playing dumb when I tell them I can't fathom computers rabbity. I like them for emailing, and doing various work stuff but generally for amusement purposes. The ins and outs of them doesn't interest me. I remember sciving off IT lessons at school because it seemed preferable to go for a ciggie!! : )
Goodnight rabbity. Hope you find the leaflet/instructions. xx
Night to you as well then pink. Btw - your second instalment should be ready just after the weekend. xx
