Did anyone watch the programme re above? This latest fad involves youths armed with their camphones tapping an innocent man/women/teen/child on the shoulder and when the person turns around they get smacked HARD in their face or around their heads+ its all photo cammed! One poor man was "Happy Slapped" then set alight! The slappers who were interviewed see it as hilarious.Even answering ones door is'nt safe as they actually do the same there and all so they can pass it on to their mates!!!!!!!

I actually witnessed something similar about 18 monthes ago FINA - and I still can't believe what happened.

My husband and myself had just come out of a theatre in the middle of Bournemouth about 10.30pm. After collecting the car we had to stop by some traffic lights. The window my side was down and I saw a crowd of youngsters all dressed in adidas outfits making a real racket when suddenly the largest boy in the group slapped the smallest so hard on the face he fell down. The rest of the gang fell about laughing and a girl of about 12 who had just joined them said, 'Do it again, I missed the fun'. Thankfully it wasn't repeated and the lad who was attacked rejoined the group as though it was the most normal thing in the world.

 This all happened long before it had a name, but I keep reliving this incident in my mind - it was just so awful.

Yes, and the boys who do this sick thing are just dumb perverts getting a kick in causing distress to others.

It was one of those times in  life so shocking that you're not sure whether it was actually real or whether it was imagined. In fact this is the first time I've actually been able to speak  about it.

i watched that programme too..it was horrible. The two boys on that programme ..the ones who were boasting actually sexually assaulted me a year ago..i had been looking for the smaller one for ages cos he never got put in jail and now i know its him.i recognised the taller ones voice..absolutely sickening.There must be something wrong with people who are like that..sick in the head or something ..its just not rite.
