A neighbour is a mechanic and has offered to replace both front discs and pads (they are in desperate need) however does �80 sound correct for this job?

Then there is the labour of fitting them. Some are really easy to fit but some you have to remove a hub which can be a real pain. Some discs come with a paint over it as well and that has to be sanded off, again, time consuming.
