visa electron debit card

does anybody know if you can use visa electron debit cards in cyprus ?
i know i willbe charged if i use it abroad but dont know if if i can use it in cyprus

you should be okay, certainly if you use it at an atm, but for shops they would have to take Visa Electron, not just Visa - so check the signs in the windows.

did you get the card at a Post office ? They offer a Visa Electron Travel Money card.

you can find out the location of the nearest ATM that takes visa electron to your holiday hotel by looking at the post office website's travel section.
