ghost vs monsta update
3 Answers
for anyone who might recognise the names..... ghost was neutered yesterday and the vet says he could be up to 2 years old (a bit older than the 9 months we thought he might be). he recovered quickly from the op and we had the full introduction to monsta today. so they came face to face, there was hardly any hissing, no big tails. monsta is sorta acting the big 'un (if you knew him it would make you laugh), and for the main part ghost is doing the right thing and rolling over. ghost was trying to play with monsta's tail at one point, which he took exception to and thats the only hiss ive heard out of them. monsta is asleep in his place right now and ghost is wandering round sniffing everything. early signs look good, im sooo happy! ...... oh yeah, and im sorry, i know its not a question!

When I got my last cat, George, from the Cats Protection they told me that he was 3 years. When I went to see the vet I told her that he was 3 - she smiled. She took him off to see one of the other vets and when she came back they had decided that he was about 13 year old.
I know that after they hit maturity it is hard to age them - but imagine gaining 70 human years in one day. I had him for five years and he was a nice cat.
Ghost is only a youngster. My two are coming up for 4 in June. I hope that they both continue to be friends - with the odd punch up just to work out who is boss.
