do we still

So, moral high-grounders ...
Google earned 1,250,000,000.00 in their last accounting year.
They diverted their advertising revenue to an Irish subsidiary.
By doing so, Google avoided 100,000,000.00 in UK taxes.
So we, the hard working tax payers, have to make up 100,000,000.00 which was not paid by the Google billionaires ... who still live in the UK.
So ... are we still "Googling" things on the internet ?
btw ... the tax avoided by Google could have run Great Ormond Street until 2011, or built 2 new hospitals.
Well, it's just a thought.
If you missed this news item, you could Google it ... except I think they've censored the coverage.

Do not use google as a search engine all the time, like to vary it between Lycos, Yahoo,AOL + google. Yet, will use google much less now methinks as unethical organisations or any business that has a monopoly on the market really annoys Bea! Am a radical rebel anyhow, Thanks JJ for letting us know this factoid. Great Ormond Street is a great charity- one that have supported too. Hope you have a marvelous Monday evening, Bea- enjoying the sunshine + warmth :-)
