I am an asian woman and have dark hair on my upper lip. I use creams but they don't work. What can I use to get rid of them. I even get green/blue colour on my lip like a man who hasn't shaved for a couple of days. It's very very very embarrasing. Thanks

Laser doesn't work very well on dark skins, as it works by targeting melanin.

 

You're probably better getting a professional wax/threading done every few weeks. Eventually the regrowth may become much less.

as ann_h said you can try using hot wax- that weakens the growth of the hair, and you will see that the hair that re-grows becomes lighter with frequent waxing.

don't worry all indians have this- just go get it threaded. It's the best way as it's cheap and you don't have to wait for the hair to grow long.

I also had dark hairs on my upper lip and I had them removed by electrolysis. It took about 9 months. At first I went to the beauticians once a week, then after a while every 2 weeks, then once a month etc. I found it very good. That was about 7 years ago and the hairs still haven't come back.
