I have to go to the family court today

Hi all.
I have to go to court again today as my violent ex husband is wanting contact with our small son.
To cut a very long story short he was granted contact but since as messed it up and started threatening me again even though I fled domestic violence from him 2 and half years ago.
I am bit scared to go today in case he turns up as he sent me a text saying to watch my back.
It is highly unlikely he will get any contact now anyway.
Thought I would post on here to get a bit of support please x
P.S. I have totally re-built my life now since leaving him which I am very proud of!!

Well done you lil for rebuilding your life and all the very best for today. You have been brave, and don't let this thug bully or initimidate you any more - as wbm says, keep any texts etc you get from him.

We have spoken before about this matter; you may remember I was in a similar situation a few years ago, though luckily my children were not very young so I didn't have that problem to face. Let us know how you get on, and keep that chin up - you've done well girl xxxxx T

well done you dont let himbully you and hold your head high . If your really worried you should take sumone with you or even contact the police . My friends ex partner got the police to accompany him to her place to collect his belongings ! so im sure they will definatly accompany you

Show the texts to the court officer first, he/she will make sure you are safe, and the judge will know what to expect.

i know how your feeling lil as i went through the exact same thing with my ex. keep the texts as proof and show your solisitor. He wont get your son with this behaviour, he needs to grow up. Keep your chin up, were all on your side lil xxx

Thank you everyone for your support.
He came out with loads and loads of lies but I have come so far in my new life now that anything he says or does really won't stop me.
It's just really hard having to sit there and here horrible things being said about you and lies and not being able to say anything back.
I just wish I could get him out of our life completely but as the saying goes Success is the best revenge !!!
