Maybe its because unlike with us, where he was definately the big fish in the pond for at least one season, at Old Trafford he is treated as just another player and he doesnt like it.

Funny isnt it how when people begin saying somthing with the phrase, "I dont mean to disrespect you", or I dont mean to be rude, or similar, they usually then go on to do exactly that!!
Gromit, if you believe that a team that missed out on Champions league football by one point on the last game of the season, beat Arsenal and Chelsea on their way to winning the Carling Cup, and I think Im right in saying, scored more goals than anyone exept Man Unt are "quite poor", what does that say for the rest of the Premiership? Im the first to say Spurs are not the greatest team in the world, nor are they as good as Man U, but to call them poor seems rather blikered.
Anyway, I think you missed my point. I was not saying that Berbatov seems poor this season when judged against his team mates, but rather, when his performances are judged against other teams. When he played for Spurs he regularly put in man of the match performances, giving opposition defences are very torrid time, and looking like the best player on the pitch. I never heard anyone describe him as 'lazy' like they are now. But since switching to Unt he just seems disinterested and out of touch, other teams defences seem to have sussed him out and he rearely looks like the great player his undoubtedly is.
