Pure digital Evoke-1xt radio

I have a Pure digital Evoke-1xt radio and often use the kitchen timer feature when cooking. Normally I have the radio on in the background and when the timer is 'up' the radio goes off and a bleeping noise comes from radio. For some reason it's not bleeping anymore! Just silence. Any ideas on how to remedy this? Thanks.

Why not contact Pure ([email protected]) giving the model name and serial number.

dab radios are poor at reception ive got a pure model and it will only pick up in one part of my house(not very convenient) if its in vhf mode ive no problems with it
i would never have paid all that for one i'm not bothered about sitting in front of it and reading the scrolling text (what for)
