vanilla sticks

My penfriend in Madagascar has sent me a whole load of Vanilla sticks. Does anyone have any good recipes to use them in.
P.S my family love any cakes and biscuits

lemon drizzle cake goes exceptionaly well with fresh vanilla pods. scrape out the seeds and add to the sponge mixture, when making the lemon icing please use fresh lemons as this will bring out the flavour of the fresh vanilla more. you can get a recipe for lemon drizzle cake online or any good cook book.

why not put some in a container of sugar so that you have vanilla sugar

In Madagascar they use them in lots of recipes; the seeds taste lovely when put into a fresh fruit salad.
