itchy thumbs
11 Answers
I have got tiny little spots on the inside of each thumb and they are so itchy, I wake up in the night just tearing my thumbs to bits. They are not on any other fingers just my thumbs. Does anyone know what they might be. I do have to say that I have a GP appt booked for Mon so hopefully will find out what it is then. Thanks all.

How long have you had them?
There's another think I have, the name of which completely escapes me but I'll go find it as posted it for redcrx a bit ago.
You could pop into a pharmacy and ask them what they think it might be and what you can help them with over the weekend.

maybe its an allergy. my hubby gets intense itching between his fingers if I change the washing powder. He uses my athletes footcream and my daughters various nappy creams including metanium which both work for him and also this calamine cream which I bought for chickenpox. Obviously you need to find out what is causing it first though
hi i have had the same problem for the last 2 n half yrs sometimes its itchy blisters that you want to rip your skin off other times its red patchy rashes all over my thighs.
been to skin clinic and diagnosed an allergic reaction call URTICARIA. unfortunatley there is no treatment other than antihistamines, apparently it starts when you are stressed etc but can stay for 6 wks, mths or yrs. its a pain in the ass.
mine still comes and goes but my skin reacts with warm & cold water well everything really. am clear at the mo but as i say it comes and goes, really sounds like you have the same so if dr says its an allergy this is prob what it is so ask to be reffered to skin clinic. hope this essay helps!
