Had a blazing row with the ex. I was booking him a flight, and I messed it up. I managed to change the booking to what he wanted, and I even paid out of my own pocket. However, he still wouldn't stop whinging, and so I just lost it with him. He's now sulking big time, which is upsetting the others. Should I apologise to him for their sake, or just let him carry on? If this remains unresolved, it could spoil the evening we had planned tonight. Thanks. xx

Hi Nosha ! The President is on the promenade and the Gurkha is down in the Port. The other's are just debating whether to go to the Indian Palace instead, but I think that may have been taken over recently. Do you have a favourite place down there?

Question Author
I'm going to have to watch that Benidorm. Everyone says how funny it is !

I've never seen Gavin and Stacey either.
Benidorm....shop owner....PLLease.
The Chinese on the arenal is nice.. it on the road side of the arenal not the beach side.. Called The Oro something or other.... (Oro meaning Gold).

The Champagne bar is also very nice - name has changed to something else .. its the one with black banners... Champagne is still on the logo I think...

There is also another Chinese in the Port which is really good too! (can you tell I like Chinese!!!). Have always had good Paellas on the arenal too..

Are you on holiday? A regular of Javea???
Question Author
I've seen a place called Oro, but can't think where I've seen it. There is a newish place called The Wok on the roundabout - eat as much as you like for 9.95. The food is actually very good, and they have sushi and everything.
With the sea on your Left the Oro is one of the last blocks at the end.... Its in the car park area not the sea front area!
Moraira and Denia are also good for nights out too!
Question Author
Oh I know now, Nosha !!! We always park there. There is a tobacconist down there, near the Oro !!
Question Author
I love Moraira - Sara3 has just come back from there. Denia has a new port area, and I've been down there a couple of times. I'm not too struck on Calpe.
YES near the tobacco shop.. that sells all the weird lighters!!!!
ha ha what a small world!

Hope the weather stays nice for you! Have an ice cream for me.. dont think I'll get out there this year!!!

We went to a lovely place in the new port area in Denia.. a roof top bar with pool and bed-style sofas all around the pool.. very hip and trendy... blazing hot day and I was wearing jeans!!!
Question Author
OMG Nosha - I went to that Rooftop bar. I had a mojito (a staggering 9 euros or something like that) !!!
Bet it was GOOOOOOOOD though!!!

I just wanted to stay there and dive in the pool it was so warm!!!

The new Port area is really nice in Denia...

Have you ever been to the DOnkey Sanctuary restaurant somewhere up in the mountains.. its quite a drive on a long windy road but we have had some fab meals there!! (no Roast Donkey either!!)
Question Author
I don't know that one, Nosha ! Are you familiar with Los Remos? We used to go there a lot, but they had a refurb and changed the menu slightly. It just doesn't feel the same now.
No I dont know Los Remos...
