has anyone else been tempted by the multi coloured lava type garden solar lights that the Texaco garages are selling at their counter for 4.99? Yesterday I picked one up when i went to get the car washed and it's brilliant, it changes colour from red to green then blue then lilac, (or it may be red green lilac then blue), anyway, it's lovely, i have 4 solar lights already in a line along the garden path but this one looks ace at the very end of the path near the back gate, i might go and get another for the other side of the path, what do you think?

They sound great Dot.
I have been tempted by Solar Garden Lights but always wondered just how much light they gave out?
Are they just ornamental,or can you actually use them as lights(if you see what I mean?)
I always have that effect on women dot.
Dont know what you need solar lights for, as everybody can see through you from a mile of

They are very good i think Mr Veritas, more atmospheric than practical, but they last for hours especially when we get lovely days like today has been. They do illuminate the path well enough even on the dartkest night. I would have liked those that look like ordinary lime stone boulders but they would crush the grass more than the spiked ones.
I Villl Be back lol
Oi Knobby, behave, lest this thread turn into yet another insult fest. It's getting harder and harder to find threads that haven't degenerated into an argument. Leave me some threads to post on mucker, pleeeaase!

Has the mad.mong been incarcerated in the dungeon then? About time too.

Dotty, I prefer plain white solar lights myself.

Mr V, they do give out a fair bit of light but I wouldn't rely on them as the only source of illumination where light is needed, unless it's just to light a pathway in the dark.
Yes, atmospheric lighting. That's a good description of them Dot.
