Firefox speed...wow...
Can't stay on AB for long tonight.
But, I don't know if Buenchico (Chris) is around here on AB this evening. If he is, I would just like to tell him that I have recently downloaded the Mozilla Firefox Browser program on my PC.
Boy,is it fast....I am truly impressed by the speed of it.
Much much faster than my normal Google Browser that I still have.I haven't deleted Google just in case I need it for anything.
Marks out of ten for quality and speed....
i give Firefox a massive thumbs up.....and 10 out of 10.
Very impressed by it!!
Many thanks to Buenchico.

Icey: If Firefox ever plays up, the simplest solution is to reinstall it. You don't need to uninstall it first and you'll keep all of your settings and bookmarks.

Brilliant!!
That sounds good Chris. Thanks for the link there in your comment.I shall use that sometime soon.
I will even post this helpful link thread somewhere in the Firefox browser page.I'll find it somewhere.
I am slowly getting used to the new layout of Firefox.
It will take me a short while to find everything.
Many thanks again.

Mind you,I just went on to YouTube earlier on and I couldn't watch any videos. It said that I either have Javascript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player.
But,that doesn't bother me much,as it's easily rectified.
I might have to update my Flash Player to the latest version which is Flash Player 10 I think, or maybe my Javascript is turned off, which I doubt.
So , no matter!

Oh hi,tamborine how you doing?
It only took about a few minutes max.
I am truly amazed by Firefox. It is supersonic.
I still have my normal Google browser though,I haven't deleted it,as I like to keep that for other purposes, like reference and stuff.
Although,I might have to fix my YouTube problem which i posted earlier.

Firefox is quite a good browser. Although it is slower to initially load than IE it seems comparable in speed once it is going. However I am not fond of its excessively verbose Favourite display.
More importantly though It does not deal with some of the idiosyncracies of sites that have been only been tested to work with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Unfortunately some site authors seem to think there is only one browser in the world.
Most of the problems are to do with Firefox not handling the CSS formatting as well as IE when it gets to (or more often beyond) the cutting edge of CSS standardisation. Fortunately Firefox is big enough to be important and diligent authors are testing their sites using it. Stats on the website I manage are showing about 12 percent using Firefox so I am sure this situation will only improve.
I am not surprised that Firefox works better than the Google browser by which I assume is meant Chrome.
Chrome is based on the rendering engine used in Safari which is a very poor excuse for a browser. No comment on the native Mac version as I haven't used it but the Windows version of Safari is utterly pathetic. On some systems most of the text appears to be bold regardless of the page coding.
Chrome is only used currently by about one in 120 visitors at our site so I can understand most site authors would not bother considering it. My prediciton is that Chrome will turn out to be one of the biggest flops in Internet history but only time will tell.
Safari for Windows turns up on about one in 1000 visitors. Even Opera manages higher than this.
