Pete Doherty

Is it just me that thinks this guy is a complete waste of space? I heard someone saying somethink like he is a rock god and that everyone wants to be like him. I don't and I don't get why anyone else would want to. He is a druggy who broke in to his mates house and looks a mess. Am I the only one that thinks this about him?

Don't forget - a lot of stuff fed to the papers is rubbish. The PR boys worked out long ago that blokes in bands can be made 'bad' and sales of discs go up. Bad publicity works and of course has to be somewhat lived up to. Some of the things said about him or anyone else are not always true. The Stones' manager worked out early on that girls like even more the blokes their mum wouldn't like! No excuse for druggies though, if he really is one. I haven't heard his music but maybe that lives up to the hype. I should have thought that Kat Moss could have done better for herself.
Yes it was.
Anyway, Pete is a pretty good songwriter and looks the part, but really, didn't he get any "little chats" about the dangers of hard drugs when he was at school? I have no sympathy for the bloke. At least he has some money and people who care about him, unlike lots of other people in a similar position. He also reminds me of Peter off "Fame Academy", if any other saddoes remember him (an indie-rock wannabe who, I believe now "dates" some b-list kids TV presenter or other).
