As part of her teacher training, my daughter has to sow seeds with her class, and would like to have some sort of herb-y theme to the project. She is looking for quickly germinating varieties, simple to grow on, and preferably scented/tasty. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance - Sovay

I've always found chives to be pretty easy and relatively quick to grow. Parsley also not too bad.

Cress is however the obvious and quick choice if you want to grow something quickly.

I'd opt for basil and rosemary... quick growing and both smell (and taste) awesome...
