I have recently received my concert tickets for 02 arena which I bought as standing-floor, yet the tickets show that we have been allocated a row and seat number. How is this possible?

It's probably nothing more than the O2's computer system keeping track of the total number of 'standing' tickets sold, to comply with venue's licence and fire regulations.

i.e. the computer is programmed with the information that a certain number of 'seats' are available, even though these are actually standing areas. In order for the software system to keep track of the number of tickets sold, each (theoretical) 'seat' is allocated a row and seat number.
