Fashion tips for weekend in sun - what should I buy?
6 Answers
Got a long weekend in Barcelona with the girls in 2 weeks. I have recently lost weight so I 've not got anything in my summer wardrobe to need to buy all new (primark here I come...)
Any suggestions on whats fashionable without being too OTT? (I'm in my 20's and size 12)
Thanks!

80's revival - batwing tops, power shoulders, body-con dress, jumpsuits and harem trousers.
Get a power shoulder boyfriend blazer and wear over a body-con dress. If you already have wide shoulders have a batwing top and a high waisted skirt.
Tribal - colour-pop animal prints, feathers, beading and bright patcwork faux skins.
Wear bright prints and pile on accessories or mix print and tailored pieces
Oriental - Traditional Geisha look. Bright tailored silk, kimono sleeves, graphic florals, origami foldings.
The obi belt is key here. Wearit over oriental style dresses and flowing tops. To modernise this trend, wear it over '80s pieces and toughen up prints with zip leggings or a blazor.
Glam Sport - Expensive looking fabrics, neutral tones - satin, chiffon and parachute silks.
Tailored pieces work best - silk shorts, structured jumpsuit. Add colour with a bright body or neon accessories.
Vintage - Cropped Jackets, mini cardis, pearls. Pretty pastels or interesting textures or wrap a scarf around your waist. Statement accessories.
Electric blue - nuff said :)
Florals - Kooky straw boaters, netted hats. Clashing florals, deckchair stripes, picnic checks, bright accessories.
Orange, yellow, clementine, purple, coral, nude, blues are all key colours for s/s.
Denim shorts or skirts are great and add extra length to your legs with killer heels.
