but i might get confuddled by technical stuff, so basically- i'm after a recommendation for a hatchback. My 21 year old Micra has finally had it, and i have been allowed between 3-4K to replace it. Doesn't necessarily have to be a Micra, but it has to be an Auto. Thanks x

Thanks Doc- i like the Tottington one too- and it's not silver, which is a bonus ;)

I'm liking Parrafin's Fiat suggestion though...i will get Sgt Troy to have a look when he gets home.

Doc- i wonder if any Southerners on here will believe the address of our local Fiat dealer- Bottom O'Th'Moor ? ;-) xx
Hi again, Bath:

Just out of interest, and now for your info, I've had a look on the official Fiat site which gives a price of 5995. However, the ad which brought me attention to this was in the Sunday Express 2 days ago (I've still got it) and it mentions "Government incentive" of 1000, followed by "Offer price" 4995.

The small print refers to the ongoing Government scrappage scheme and contains other conditions.

Hope this helps.

Hi again paraffin- i'm just looking at what i printed off after your reply earlier...it says OTR 7095, Government Incentive
1000, Fiat Ecoplus Bonus 1,100, Offer Price 4995.

Just been looking at a topic in Motoring about "scrappage"- fab word, ain't it? ;-) xxx
Fiat stands for Fix It Again Tony !{:)
Bath:

Yes, that's it.

stompe: Don't be naughty, the Panda's one of the few Fiats which has a very good reputation, unlike the majority of the range I'll grant you.
