Lost intranslation
A Texan on holiday in Quebec was really missing his daily horseback ride, so on spotting a horse in a field, decided to ask the farmer if he could rent the animal for an hour.
"Non Monsieur, dat 'orse it don't look so good"
"But I'm prepared to pay you $50" said the Yank
"Oui, Monsieur but dat 'orse�..he don't look so good"
"OK" says the Texan,"I'll pay you $150�.and be gentle with it .....so please!"
The farmer agrees and the Texan mounts and gallops off straight into a tree �
"Jeezus " says the Texan " that damned thing is blind"
"Like I tell you" said the farmer, " Dat 'orse he don't look so good!"
