My son was made redundant at Christmas but got a part time job a couple of months ago. He has just been accepted on a training course so now he will have to give his notice in. When he has done the course can he sign on until he has a new job or will they say he has made himself unemployed? TIA

after the course has finished he should be able to get jobseekers allowance again...tho he will have to make a fresh claim...

Thank you. Personally I hope he gets another job as the jobcentre were useless before! Never found him a job or even tried to!

i agree these training schemes are generally a waste of time..
