im deciding to have a change of career and im hopeing to start a hairdressing course in sept. I went for my first interview yesterday and been told that because of our household income (18000) i wont get agrant to help toward the cost of the 'kit' which is app �250 i was told. i would also be doind a nail tech course and was told that that would cost the same. Does anyone know of any sites that you can buy them from hopefully at a cheaper rate?

Either use the local college (free or minimal charge) or work in a salon to earn as your learn. Equipment would be free thru the salon & large salons give time & sponsorships for employees at college.
