Am I the only person that finds Anthea and Grant to be the most pathetic couple in the universe? I was over the moon when he got voted out last night and thought his little talk with Marco was totally childish. "Please look after Anthea after I'm gone". Is he dying? It's a TV Programme about cooking. What does she need protecting from? URGH!!!!

I thought the same, only caught the last bit after work last night.
Saw her 'hiding' listening to the outcome. You would have thought that Grant had been told he only had a few months to live!.

Totally pathetic...as you say it's just a cooking programme!
When she said 'Please don't touch me' when the others went to comfort her....... words fail me.

Hubby + I were elated that Grant was evicted/sacked last night- he was a real pain like a snake in the grass + not a team player + had more front than southend pier + could not even cook mashed potato right for goodness sake! It was quite surreal how Anthea was crouched down like that + said to the very lovely Naomi- 'Don't touch me' like a young frightened child( she only wanted to be comforted by her v odd + control freak husband). Hope Anthea is next as she is equally annoying + their reputations were not great prior to this show so now they are in tatters methinks!! Ade find him hilarious + loved his Marco Pierre White impersonation! My top 3 are Naomi, Linda + Ade. Marco + Claudia are such a good double act :-) Have much respect for Marco Pierre White + adore his eccentricity ;-)

After everything seen in the media about Anthea I am surprised she accepts Grant's behaviour. Was very odd especially knowing it was going to be broadcast to the nation.

It's as though they're all brainwashed into thinking what they're doing is really really important! Mind you, Ade Edmundson said near the beginning that they forget what it's about, and just concentrate on that tiny world. I wish Marco would promise my husband to look after me "as a man" fnar fnar.....

I think I can remember them being a story a couple of years back of Anthea having an 'accident' at home and breaking a couple of ribs and puncturing her lung?
Apparently something to do with rough sex they said at the time. But there was speculation that Grant had something to do with it then. After 'getting to know him' a little, I could imagine the rumours could be true.

I think it was Leslie Ash, but while we're on, I know it's a question that comes up every time there's a "celebrity" programme on, but what does Grant Bovey do? Is he a celebrity for marrying Anthea Turner? I remember he had a celebrity boxing match for Comic Relief a few years ago, but was he on tele or anything before he met AT?

I so agree with everything that has been said. Pathetic behaviour. He has been on with Fern and Phil this morning saying he is worried for Anthea and that he is so missing her. When asked who he thinks will win he said "Oh Anthea of Course" They have lost shed loads of money.Well if coming on reality shows is their way of getting on the celebrity band wagon forget it. I thoroughly disliked the way Jodie behaved but Anthea was milking it. look what a good Girl I am. And Grant couldnt wait to put his stick beak into it either. Hope the public soon vote her out so they can be re-united. Ha Ha. Naomi ,Linda or Ade to win.

Think Linda is lovely. Oh my gosh- she looks more like 36 than 66, too!! Will be 36 soon + hope will look that good when I reach 66 like Linda?! Like Naomi much too yet what is she a celebrity for as never seen her before Hells Kitchen? Ade is hilarious. Apart from the Bovey team like them all pretty much. Hope Anthea is next to go, too! Think the public will support Linda + Ade the most, too ConfusedCH :-) Bea :-)

Bea I'm sure you'll look a lot nicer than Linda at 66. Don't get me wrong I do like her a lot but when I first saw her I thought she' had a stroke as her mouth seems lopsided but I realise it's because of all the plastic surgery she's had. I'd be happy for her to win...Anthea out next!
