I am hoping to go to Helsinki in July for 5 or 6 nights. Can anyone recommend things to see and do please and cheap accomodation (budget hotels/hostels)?

There are 4 hostels and 2 budget hotels listed on the excellent Hostelworld website:

The Academica Summer Hostel, on that site, was voted the best hotel in the country in last year's poll by the Finnish Youth Hostel Federation. (�22.80 per night in a dorm. �40.85 in a private room).

I just thought I would let you know based on your advice and a recommendation from my Finnish friend that I have booked to stay at the Academica Summer Hostel when I go in July.
