Want to replace great Hi-Fi system as it is taking up too much room of the house.

Bought a Phillips CD player last week and was setting it up this morning and there was no remote control with it. I rang Currys and there is definitely no control with it.

I am therefore bringing it back - can anybody tell me of a good CD player/cassette with remote control that I can now buy. Thanks

thanks steves but you would not believe that there is pretty much a scarcity of cdplayers - they are all nearly "old hat" - the make I had before was AIWA - a great system but the unit it was on was too big.

Also why did the Phillips CDPlayer not come with a control - I could not believe that.

thanks Steve 5 - I am looking for a really good sound quality and am prepared to pay the price. Have gone on to Argos site and there seem to be a few.
