It is not the same as asking the difference between an apple and an orange. I mean what makes the party 2 not party 1.

The main difference in the mario party games is they put a new number at the end every year, its a bit like the fifa games really the same rubbish time and time again.

So if you like mario party get what ever copy is out this week, or if your looking for a similar game get wario ware or maybe even raymans raving rabbids.
