Question on Facebook friends

Hello, is there a way of finding out which of my friends has "unbefriended" me on Facebook? A few days ago I had 146 friends, one day it dropped to 145. Then I added two more and got to 147, and today it's back to 146. But I cannot for the life of me work out who these two people are who "dropped" me. Does anyone know if there is a way of finding out please?

It maybe that they have set their privacy settings so high that they are the only ones that can view their profile.

However, I have had some people who have removed themselves off my friends list but thats their choice.

and how do you get new friends?
