The party was a giggle, and the only downside was that my adopted Granny was too ill to go. She's got Emphysema the poor thing. Tell you what Leela, those oldies make you work hard fetching and carrying for them. LOL The oldest lady there was 101. She only needed help standing up out of the chair, but she could walk okay on her own. Amazing.

My essays will be about the effects of all types of bereavement, and the various types of support/help/medical treatment necessary. We'll be given case studies to work through.

stonemonkey, I hope your adopted Granny feels better soon. Oh they know how to work you, they put on the whole "I am old and frail" act...It's all a front!

They'll be taking over the world...

Wow, your course sounds very emotionally draining. Are you given adequate support?

Thanks leelapops. I've been to see her and she's wheezing and coughing, but happy in herself.

For that course, we have to attend sessions with a qualified therapist. We have no choice in that.
