Accessing Administration on XP

My dad has placed a block on my profile on our computer network. Is there any way that I can access administration so that I can change the settings. I dont have the password or anything, and .exe files cannot be used. I can only access certain websites. I need to use an .exe file for game installations.

You must log on as Administrator or someone with administrative rights then give your account administrative rights. If you don't know the passwords then you are stuck. You could get hold of ERD commander from here: http://www.winternals.com/products/repairandrecove
ry/erdcommander2002.asp then reset the administrators password, but it is expensive. Perhaps your Dad locked you out for a reason.
